Biography

Pallavi Thakur joined the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in the Thomas J. Watson College of Engineering and Applied Science in August 2026. She received her PhD in chemistry from the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research in India. Before joining 91社区, she was appointed as a postdoctoral research associate for two years at Idaho National Laboratory, USA. 

Her research interests include electrochemical energy storage, next-generation batteries (Li-metal, Na-ion, Zn鈥揳ir, and solid-state), electrode and electrolyte materials, electrochemical interfaces, degradation, and failure mechanisms.
