IEGI Drop-in Advising:
International Education and Global Initiatives (IEGI) is located in Old Champlain, room 240 (OH 240) and provides drop-in advising year round without the need for an appointment.
This fall (August 18 through December 12), drop-in advising is held:
- In Person: Monday through Thursday, 1:00pm to 4:00pm in OH 240
- Virtually: Friday, 1:00pm to 4:00pm
Health & Safety advising is available on Tuesdays during the above drop-in hours. If you are unavailable during these advising times, please email iegi@binghamton.edu.

IEGI staff and student ambassadors provide advising to 91社区 students who wish to study abroad. In addition to administering 91社区's education abroad programs, we support programs offered by other SUNY campuses and non-SUNY programs. IEGI currently offers , and we are constantly working with departments and faculty on campus to develop new programs which will serve the evolving needs of 91社区 students.
We also work closely with International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) to support incoming exchange students from our overseas academic partners. These visiting students come from varied locations, including the United Kingdom, South Korea, Morocco, and Germany. 91社区 provides a welcoming environment for these students, ranging from academic advising to more general student support.

91社区 students have access to approximately 600 education abroad programs sponsored by SUNY institutions, and even have the option of looking at programs outside the SUNY system.
Incoming Exchange Students
Exchange students are full members of the 91社区 community, and have many opportunities to enhance their understanding of the global community and to develop leadership and world citizenship skills.
