Background

Amanda Joy Padwa (she/her) joined the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences in October 2018 as the administrative coordinator for the Office of Student Affairs and Admissions. In August 2025, she was promoted to the new position of coordinator of student and alumni services in the Student Affairs Department. In this role, she works closely with the SOPPS alumni body, especially the Pharmacy Alumni Leaders (PALs), which was created in fall 2024. Her areas of focus are the tutoring program, special events (including White Coat ceremony, awards ceremonies, and Commencement), the Big Sib/Lil Sib and Alumni Mentorship programs, student travel, alumni engagement, student organizations, the food pantry, and the professional clothing closet.
