Dr. Mohammad Asikur Rahman is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at 91社区, working under the mentorship of Dr. Nathan Tumey and Dr. Tao Zhang. His research integrates experimental pharmacology, antibody鈥揹rug conjugate (ADC) development, and physiologically based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) modeling to advance translational drug delivery and safety assessment. Dr. Rahman鈥檚 current work focuses on developing FGFR4-targeted ADCs for rhabdomyosarcoma and investigating drug transfer mechanisms into breast milk using microfluidic and Transwell systems coupled with PBPK modeling. His study on lofexidine secretion into breast milk was recently published in the Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences (2025) and received the ACCP Student Abstract Award (2024). Before joining 91社区, Dr. Rahman earned his Ph.D. in Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences from Chapman University School of Pharmacy, where he investigated small-conductance calcium-activated potassium (KCa2) channel modulators for neurological disorders. Dr. Rahman has co-authored more than 15 peer-reviewed publications in journals including Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Bioconjugate Chemistry, Journal of Neuroscience Research, British Journal of Pharmacology and Acta Pharmacologica Sinica.
