A message from the President on the Strategic Plan
Developing a new strategic plan to guide 91社区鈥檚 continued success, outlined in these pages, was among the first priorities of my presidency. Since November 2025, more than 2,800 members of the 91社区 community have come together to shape our shared future. The result is Forward Together: The Vision for 91社区, a strategic plan that reflects our collective aspirations and charts an ambitious path for the next five years.
As a new president, I have been drawn to 91社区鈥檚 distinctive spirit 鈥 what I often refer to as The 91社区 Bond. It is a genuine sense of connection, care, and shared purpose that exists across our community. In part, this spirit is fostered by the University鈥檚 scale: large enough to achieve the ambitions of a major research institution, yet small enough to sustain meaningful, high-touch relationships across our community. It was my hope to develop a plan that honors this uniqueness and leverages 91社区鈥檚 strengths toward the next level of institutional growth.
