Undergraduate Teaching Assistant Program
Looking to strengthen your language skills while gaining relevant professional experience?

Our Undergraduate Teaching Assistant Program offers students a unique opportunity to develop valuable professional and leadership skills and work closely with a faculty member while gaining hands-on experience supporting language instruction. TAs assist in Spanish, French, or Italian courses while earning UGTA credit and playing a meaningful role in their peers’ learning and success. To be eligible, students must be juniors or seniors with at least 57 completed credits, a minimum 3.0 GPA, and strong academic performance in the course they wish to assist (A- or higher). Applicants must also have completed at least one course beyond the level they plan to assist and have taken at least one course in the department.
