Register with SSD

At Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD), we facilitate reasonable accommodations for students with disabilities attending 91社区. Registering with SSD can occur at any time during your studies and is the first step to receiving individualized accommodations.

Any student with a documented disability is eligible to register with SSD. All information shared during the registration process is voluntary and kept private. If you鈥檙e unsure about your eligibility for accommodations or would like to schedule a consultation appointment, reach out to us at 607-777-2686 or ssd@binghamton.edu.

Reasonable accommodations

Reasonable accommodations provide students with disabilities with equal opportunities to fully engage in courses, programs, activities and services. Accommodations can be related to assistive technology, testing, on-campus living, classroom, experientials and more. Accommodations are determined on a case-by-case basis through an interactive process with the student and an SSD staff member.
