Past Production Seasons

Our past productions are listed here for us to highlight previous seasons and the recognitions we received from certain productions. Some of the productions were awarded by The American College Theater Festival (ACTF) is a national theatre program involving 18,000 students annually from colleges and universities across the country. ACTF aims to:

  • Encourage, recognize, and celebrate the finest and most diverse work produced in university and college theatre programs
  • Provide opportunities for participants to develop their theatre skills and insight, and achieve professionalism
  • Improve the quality of college and university theatre in the United States.

Eventually, Kristina Yim went to the Region 2 ACTF festival and was selected as the
Musical Theatre Intensive Awardee and subsequently attended the national festival at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC, where she was awarded the Creative Artist Award, which was presented 鈥淔or Excellence in the Creative Arts鈥.

Sophia Geisser - Recognition of Outstanding Achievement for her performance in the ACTF Region 2's Festival 53 Group Song

Julia was chosen as the runner-up for the festival-wide Musical Theatre Intensive Scholarship Award (after winning in 2019) with Sophia Geisser and Joshua Schull also as finalists for that award.

  • *Sweet Charity: Book by Neil Simon, Music by Cy Coleman, Lyrics by Dorothy Fields, Conceived, Staged, and Choreographed by Bob Fosse, Directed and Choreographed by David Wynen, Music Direction by Robyn Womersley.

  • Baltimore: by Kirsten Greenidge, directed by Godfrey L. Simmons, Jr.
  • The Burial at Thebes: a version of Sophocles' Antigone by Seamus Heaney, directed by Elizabeth Mozer.

2017-18 Season

  • Belleville: written by Amy Herzog, directed by Anne Brady.

  • The Wizard of Oz: by L. Frank Baum with Music and Lyrics by Harold Arlen and E. Y. Harburg, background music by Herbert Stothart, dance and vocal arr. by Peter Howard, orchestration by Larry Wilcox, adapted by John Kane for the Royal Shakespeare Company. Based upon the Classic Motion Picture owned by Turner Entertainment Co. and distributed in all media by Warner Bros., directed by Tommy Iafrate.

  • The Liar: by David Ives, directed by Tom Kremer.
