Resumption of Operations at NSF

Recent Policy Changes

  • .  NSF is deferring release of the 26-1 version of the PAPPG.  Policy revisions will be issued via supplemental Policy Notices.  The information set out in the notices will take precedence over existing policies and procedures in the PAPPG 24-1.
  • Updates to NSF Research Security Policies - UPDATED NOV. 24, 2025

Please note: NSF is providing a grace period for research proposals submitted between December 2, 2025 and December 31, 2025.  During this period, proposals may be submitted using the old Biographical Sketch and Current and Pending (Other) Support forms.  After December 31, 2025, all proposals must be fully compliant with NSF IN-149.
