SSD-specific resources
- Academic Skills Navigator
The academic skills navigator provides one-on-one targeted support for students, which can include skills related to time management and organization, study strategies, stress management, social interactions, health and wellness, role playing and social scripts, self-advocacy and daily living skills.
The academic skills navigator also runs groups such as meal meet-ups and open study opportunities. Academic skills navigator services are open to any student who is currently enrolled with the SSD office. For more information about academic skills navigator services, contact SSD.
- Need a quiet space to work?
Students registered with the SSD office have access to room UU-255 in the University Union. This space provides an area to complete assignments or to study quietly. This space is only open to students registered with the SSD office. SSD provides a set of posted guidelines students are expected to follow to maintain a welcoming space. Students that do not follow the guidelines may have their access to UU-255 revoked. Email ssd@binghamton.edu with any questions or for more information.
